AUDITIONS
From stage to PIT to behind the scenes, all productions will hold auditions for students to participate. Auditions are an important part of the production. Aside from the necessity of allowing staff to select the right students for the show as a whole (we don't cast parts, we cast shows), it allows students to showcase their talents, improvements, skills, and preparation.
NOISES OFF AUDITIONS
Students will be asked to attend one night of auditions. The audition will include a brief discussion of the show and a cold read (reading from a script given to you at the audition). We know that auditions can be scary! Students auditioning will always be part of a group reading the scene. No one will read alone! We know auditions can be scary and intimidating, so we'll do out best to make them not that. Remember, we're not looking for perfection - we're looking for students who are open to direction and ready to have fun!
